SymSMB 1.10 allows sharing Smartphone’s folders and drives, which can be accessed over Wi-Fi from the PC. With a computer and Wi-Fi router one can access files on the Smartphone as if it’s connected to the computer via cable in file transfer mode: copy files to and from the Smartphone, create and rename its existing files and directories, listen to your favourite tunes or to watch cool videos on your PC directly from the phone – all the necessary features.

A Mobile VoIP service that will work on Nokia S60 was launched by WiFiMobile. This service allows users to make free calls over WiFi regardless of where they are. Users will still be able to make VoIP calls through a network operator’s data plan, even in the case that no WiFi connection is available. The call can be placed through a conventional GSM service when is not in WiFi coverage. This call is routed over an existing 3G data plan. In both cases, calls made through VoIP will not be charged.
