This S60 client is related to the Gizmo project, a great service that gives us free calls etc. to any Gizmo Project, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, or Windows Live users.
Install the Gizmo client on your device to start using instant messaging (IM), presence and Internet calls. After installing the application you are able to create an account or use the existing Gizmo username and password. With a WLAN connection you are able to use all the features, and IM and presence are available even when you are connected over 2G or 3G.

Iskoot is a great program for the Treo / E61 that allows users to access Skype via their Palm or S60 device. Cleverly it loads your profile onto the ISkoot servers and relays the information to your Treo allowing you to chat with contacts and also to make calls, using your Skype out credit balance, for direct calls. Having tried this over GPRS (all that the Treo 650 supports) I was amazed at the quality. It actually worked, which is more than I can say for using Skype on a PPC over GPRS.
A Mobile VoIP service that will work on Nokia S60 was launched by WiFiMobile. This service allows users to make free calls over WiFi regardless of where they are. Users will still be able to make VoIP calls through a network operator’s data plan, even in the case that no WiFi connection is available. The call can be placed through a conventional GSM service when is not in WiFi coverage. This call is routed over an existing 3G data plan. In both cases, calls made through VoIP will not be charged.
