Frozen Bubble is one of my favorite games, because it is easy to play, not boring, and doesn’t make you think too much. When Elias Konstantinidis releases the first version for Symbian 7.0, I was eager to play it on my Nokia 3650, and decided to help him create a build for Symbian 6.0. That was an old story, and now Elias has released the latest version for S60 3rd edition.
NStarter is an awesome little utility by the Russian developer Nomiel that - in a nutshell - gives you 12 new hotkey shortcuts that will launch any app on your device with a simple (simultaneous) press of two buttons. The app also includes one additional little treat; integrated reboot functionality that can be assigned to any shortcut. (Note that reboot does not yet work on the E50)

Finally, the long awaited PC Suite (sort of) for the Mac is here with the release of the Nokia Media Transfer Beta. The current version of the app supports only N-Series devices. There is no support for E-series and normal S60/S40 devices as of now.

MobiGenie is one of the most valuable utilities for any mobile phone user. With MobiGenie, you can manage your mobile phone world by a lot of integrated features, such as (answer machine, caller locator, SMS auto-reply, caller block,... etc).
I think the biggest problem with it is the ‘b’. If Nokia had called it LifeLOG rather than Lifeblog, then the intent of the application would be much more clear. As it stands, the idea that blogging is involved (and to most that means publicly blogging) will make some people avoid the application. The truth is far from that, although you do have the option of blogging from Lifeblog, it’s not compulsory, nor required.
And… the wait is over! Version 3.0 of probably the single most-used SIP-based VoIP client for Nokia smartphones is out. Yes, I’m talking about Truphone, which in the latest version brings several improvements, including support for SMS over IP, better presence management, auto-logging to previously used WiFi hotspots, multi-SIM support. Also, as we previously posted, the new version works over 3G networks — the feature that is very handy for those of you on unlimited data plans.
